The Summer Close to My Heart (CTMH) Idea Book is now available. It has great new paper packs (see Tinkerin below) and new stamps as well. I have played with some of them but still working on the rest. I love CTMH products. They are a great quality and of course all acid, lignin free. I love how my inks, paper and embelishments all match. Making scrapping so fast! I'm sure to get caught up soon!

close to my heart, sentimental journey scrapbooks, omaha consultant

This is the new level 1 paper pack from Close To My Heart called Tinkerin. Level 1 paper packs are great for people wanting to get started scrapbooking. They are easy and look very professional. It's a great way to start. I was able to get 4 pages and 5 cards out of one kit and still have some scraps leftover.

Let's Start Small

If you are new to the idea of scrapbooking it's good to start small. Don't start this process expecting to have all your photos scrapped in a matter of months. Start with an event, a vacation, wedding, anniversary, etc. You get the idea. Start with something that you could finish (or have someone finish for you) in a finite amount of time. The sense of accomplishment is bound to keep you going.

Pictures, Pictures, Pictures!

We all do it. We have pictures from all the important (and some not so important) events in our lives. Our weddings, vacations, birthdays and holidays. Once we have kids the number of pictures just multiply. Especially in today's digital age where it costs no more to take one picture than 100.

What happens with these pictures? For many people these pictures just sit. Either on the computer or the memory card. Some may get printed, but what happens with those. They sit too.

I've started this blog as a way to show different ways to showcase your photos. Everything from scrapbooks to photo books to artwork. Let's work together to get your pictures out for all to see and enjoy.
